Weather permitting, our first day of classes will be Monday, May 12th. Obedience classes will be held on Mondays, when the park is closed. Puppy Good Start will start at 6:00 p.m, and Basic Obedience will begin at 7:00. Please see our classes section for class descriptions, fees, and requirements. We are pleased to welcome back to CCC Linda Knol, who taught here several years ago. (She was Zach's and my first obedience teacher at Valpo Parks Dept.) Her bio is now available in the instructors section here on the website.
Tuesday, May 13th will be the first night for Beginning Agility. The way sign-ups are going, it appears that we'll have enough students for two beginning classes. (Ideally, we could divide the classes by small and larger dogs.) Class size is limited to six "teams". We may add an intermediate class on Wednesday nights if there's enough interest. Agility classes will once again be taught by Leslie Baumann, who's been with CCC since the beginning! Each year the classes draw more interest, and Leslie improves as an instructor.
